FOCUS obtains the N-Cloud label

Mr. Nizar Ben Neji, Minister of Communication Technologies, awarded this Friday, April 12, the “National Cloud Computing Service Provider: N-Cloud” labeling certificate to Focus.


Focus: Guarantee of Secure and Certified Cloud Services

With this label, Focus offers an additional guarantee to its customers for access to reliable and highly secure Cloud services, meeting the security standards required to maintain an information security management system. Focus, already ISO 27001 certified and being the only VMWare Cloud Verified in Tunisia, confirms the trust of our customers in the banking, insurance, industry and service sectors.

This comes following Decree-Law No. 2023-17 on cybersecurity published on March 11, 2023 and the decree of the Minister of Communication Technologies of September 13, 2023, a new national policy for labeling Cloud computing, based on the introduction of a system for awarding digital trust marks, has been put in place.

ANCS: ensuring the security of the National Cloud

This policy allows the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCS) the granting of the labels “Government Cloud Service Provider (G-cloud)” and “National Cloud Service Provider (N-cloud)” to hosting and cloud computing service providers that meet the criteria established by this decree.

The fundamental objective of this initiative is to guarantee the security of the National Cloud and aims to reduce the risks inherent in the use of unaccredited hosting service providers, such as data loss, unavailability of information systems and leakage of confidential information.

One of the highlights of MCCE 2024 was undoubtedly our panel discussion focused on the theme “The Cloud Adoption in Tunisia – Challenges and Opportunities”. They shared their in-depth knowledge on the evolution of Cloud in Tunisia, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that such a transition offers to businesses. Workshop : "Accelerate Innovation with Gen AI-ready Infrastructure"

As part of our activities at the Expo, we also organized a 1st  workshop entitled “Accelerate Innovation with Gen AI-ready Infrastructure“. Speakers Issam Gasmi of Dell Technologies and Mohamed Souiri of Focus Technology Solutions presented infrastructure solutions for AI, providing valuable insight into the possibilities of our partnership with Dell Technologies.

Our 2nd workshop, entitled “Autonomous SOC – Zero Trust with Zero Exceptions“, was a deep dive into advanced security strategies. Led by seasoned experts, this workshop not only explored the crucial concepts of Zero Trust, but also highlighted the importance of a self-directed approach to strengthening the security of organizations. Towards a Secure Future with this workshop, we opened the doors to cutting-edge security practices, giving participants a concrete view of the upcoming developments in this critical area.

This new milestone for Focus results from offering certified Cloud solutions that meet the evolving needs of various industries, including banking and finance.

To enhance its technological foundation, UBCI has chosen Focus Cloud, a “VMware Cloud Verified Partner.”

Focus’s Participation in the "Tunisia CyberSecurity & Cloud Expo 2022"

On May 25th and 26th, Focus was present as a Platinum Sponsor, alongside its partners Dell Technologies and VMware, at the “Tunisia CyberSecurity and Cloud Expo 2022,” which took place at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis.

The goal of this participation was to enhance Focus’s visibility among IT professionals and decision-makers in Tunisia. Our presence also provided an opportunity to expand contacts and generate new business opportunities that could materialize in the future, focusing on Focus’s Cloud and Cybersecurity offerings.

In addition to the exhibition stand, Focus organized two workshops at the event on the topics of “Cloud Migration: The 5 Mistakes to Avoid” and “Best Practices for Protecting Your Data Against Ransomware.”

Furthermore, our HR team was present at the Job Fair held alongside the Expo to engage with students and promote our employer brand.

Focus Partners with VMware to Launch Cloud Services

The software development and IT services company, Focus, has partnered with VMware to launch its cloud offering, aimed at meeting the growing demand for cloud services and supporting Tunisia’s ambitious digital transformation plans under “Tunisia Digital 2020.”

Focus aims to deliver premium cloud services designed to meet the performance, availability, resilience, and security requirements of its clients’ critical applications.

The Focus Cloud catalog offers solutions such as virtual private servers, Virtual Datacenters, and cloud-based Disaster Recovery. Initially, the Focus offering will focus on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions based on VMware technology to address the needs of organizations looking to securely extend or migrate their infrastructure to the cloud.
