For the banking sector, data sovereignty is a critical issue integrated into Focus’s Cloud services, with a focus on system and environment security.

On May 25th and 26th, Focus was present as a Platinum Sponsor, alongside its partners Dell Technologies and VMware, at the “Tunisia CyberSecurity and Cloud Expo 2022,” which took place at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis.

The goal of this participation was to enhance Focus’s visibility among IT professionals and decision-makers in Tunisia. Our presence also provided an opportunity to expand contacts and generate new business opportunities that could materialize in the future, focusing on Focus’s Cloud and Cybersecurity offerings.

In addition to the exhibition stand, Focus organized two workshops at the event on the topics of “Cloud Migration: The 5 Mistakes to Avoid” and “Best Practices for Protecting Your Data Against Ransomware.”

Furthermore, our HR team was present at the Job Fair held alongside the Expo to engage with students and promote our employer brand.

Through these various activities, Focus’s presence was notably impactful during this inaugural edition of the Expo. Thanks to the different Focus teams (sales, technical, HR, and marketing) whose availability and commitment contributed to the success of this participation.

Focus and INFOMOTION GmbH have signed a partnership agreement, leading to the creation of a Tunisian-German IT project. The two IT experts collaborating in Tunisia have agreed to develop an ecosystem focusing on data and analytics, cloud computing, and software development, leveraging the expertise of IT professionals and talent in Tunisia.

INFOMOTION GmbH is a market leader in Business Intelligence, Big Data, and digital solutions in the German-speaking countries. Its Tunisian partner, FOCUS, specializes in the implementation of digital applications. The two companies were connected by the Digital Transformation program team of GIZ in Tunisia. This program encourages foreign investors to establish themselves in Tunisia and facilitates their entry into the national digital market. It is supported by the Special Initiative on Training and Employment of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

This initiative, part of the “Business and Invest” component, is implemented under the Special Initiative on Training and Employment “Invest for Jobs” and mandated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is executed by GIZ Tunisia through its Digital Transformation program, which facilitated the networking of the two companies.

On March 23, 2022, Focus Group unveiled its new visual identity at an event held in its new offices located in the Berges du Lac 1 area of Tunis. The event was attended by clients, partners, and media representatives.

This new visual identity supports Focus Group’s ambitions to strengthen its position as a leader in the IT services sector in Tunisia and to advance its international development strategy.

“We aim to accelerate our growth, which has consistently been achieved since the inception of Focus, through the diversification of our services, particularly in Cloud computing, and the investments we are making to enhance our international presence. Our goal is to reach 100 million dinars in revenue by 2024,” stated Mr. Karim Ghandri, General Director of Focus Group, during the presentation of the company’s new identity.

The rebranding also aims to reaffirm Focus Group’s commitment to client satisfaction and success, the development and growth of its employees, and the adoption of technologies that contribute to the progress and development of the region.
